　This is my favorite, the usual Eisui style Maki-Ryoko. I recommend all four of the major typefaces, but the bold, vigorous Ryoko is still wonderful, and I find myself ordering only Maki-Ryoko these days. The thickness of the characters, the balance of strength and weakness, and the finish is unquestionable. The work is finished with elegance and calmness.

　Eisui style Minase, which was completed together with the piece above. This is a straight grain wood with clear annual rings, which has been ordered by many customers recently. It is material, which seems to be available everywhere, but is very difficult to find. The wood is very powerful, so we used large and bold Minase calligraphy to emphasize its solidity and strength. Shozan's work is graceful and elegant, and I like the taste of his brushwork everywhere.

　Shozan's work is known for its time-consuming and careful work. I am looking at it carefully with a magnifying glass, and the use of lacquer is smooth and elegant. The typeface is a gentle and easy-to-read Kinki. The wood is an attractive and elegant red grain, a top quality wood for professional use. The wood's withered taste, fine grain, brightness, and color are all excellent, and the heaping up is the work of a master craftsman.

　I am in love with Shozan's Maki-Ryoko. I had it made with perfectly patterned, dark-colored Satsuma wood. The photo shows two Kings, but it is a piece set of three Kings.
